3. Central Park Shopping at YuZhu Street
Review
The apparels are cheap and trendy, i prefer this to Wu Fen Pu . The style is more of Bugis Street style. Wu Fen Pu don’t really have bugis street clothes. I see alot of youngsters. When i mean cheap, i mean like tops for NTD 230 – 345 aka SGD10-15.
Directions
MRT Red Line R9
4. Cijin island
Review
A lighthouse and fort on the island, named Cijin Lighthouse and Cihou Fort, dating back to the 19th Century provide great views of Kaohsiung’s skyline, especially as the sun sets over the ocean. Other worthwhile attractions include the YM Museum of Maritime Exploration and the old Tianhou Temple. We only had about 1.5-2hrs to spare. We walked around and just ate some chicken(refer to picture above). Nice scenery at the beach, but other than that, nothing much. Good for first time tourists though.
Directions
Get to Cijin Island by taking a ferry from the Gushan Ferry Pier. One-way tickets are very cheap, at around NTD$15 per person.
