Transportation:
Another city in Taiwan, thus the existence of huo che, buses but just no metro yet. Gosh one thing that irks me on Taiwan is the absence of convenient MRT, I MISS THE MRT in SINGAPORE!!! We only spent 1 night at Taichung, reached our accomodation at 5.30pm, and check-ed out the next day morning 9.30am.
1. 宫原眼科
Review:
The ice cream is really creamy and worth the value NTD75 and big serving for 2people. There are two branches. There are more ice cream flavour at the smaller branch. The main branch has a restaurant at the upper storey and sun cakes sold at first level. The main branch sells all the delicacies, but just a smaller range of ice-cream. Very well designed interior. A must go! For the delicacies, i would advise you to go to the main branch. Only if you are looking for the ice-cream, then the branch outlet will do. The branch outlet is along the same street as the main outlet, just walk all the way straight, you will pass by the river/ canal and keep walking straight. Else, you can check with the staff , they will be more than happy to help (: Super high class area, Lulin was feeling embarrassed to be in shirts, shorts and slippers, i was like, aiyah nevermind, we are singaporeans , the singaporean style. LOL

If coming from Taichung train station, take the underpass right in front of the station front, will come face to face with a 7-11 when you exit the underpass on the other side. Walk left from the 7-11 and 宫原眼科 is just a few doors away.
2. Shopping at Yi Zhong Jie
Review:It is as good as the Yuzhu Street in Kaohsiung, really cheap products, around the same price range. Stuff sold is around the same type, mainstream fashion. Caps, sunglasses, shoes, apparels are sold. Definitely a place to go for cheap buys! Unfortunately, i dont have photos on it.
